Snow Leopard で MacPorts から Apache2, PHP5, MySQL のインストール

Snow Leopard をクリーンインストールし、 Apache2、PHP5、MySQL を MacPorts からインストールした際のメモ。

Apache2 のインストール

インストール後表示されるメッセージにしたがって、OS起動時に Apache2 を自動起動するように設定する。

$ sudo port install apache2

###########################################################
# A startup item has been generated that will aid in
# starting apache2 with launchd. It is disabled
# by default. Execute the following command to start it,
# and to cause it to launch at startup:
#
# sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.macports.apache2.plist
###########################################################

$ sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.macports.apache2.plist

Apache2 の設定ファイルのオリジナルをコピーして保存しておいて、各種設定を行う。

$ sudo cp /opt/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf /opt/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf.orig

PHP5 のインストール

最初、以下のようにインストールしたが +mysql5 と +sqlite の variant は obsolete と表示されたので、php5-mysql と php5-sqlite を後でインストールした。

$ sudo port install php5 +apache2 +mysql5 +sqlite +pear

インストール後、以下のようなメッセージが表示される。

To customize php, copy
/opt/local/etc/php5/php.ini-development (if this is a development server) or
/opt/local/etc/php5/php.ini-production (if this is a production server) to
/opt/local/etc/php5/php.ini and then make changes.

If this is your first install, you need to activate PHP in your web server.

To enable PHP in Apache, run
  cd /opt/local/apache2/modules
  /opt/local/apache2/bin/apxs -a -e -n "php5" libphp5.so

メッセージにしたがって php.ini を作成する。
PHP を初めてインストールした場合は、アクティベートする。

$ cd /opt/local/etc/php5/
$ sudo cp php.ini-development php.ini
$ cd /opt/local/apache2/modules/
$ sudo /opt/local/apache2/bin/apxs -a -e -n "php5" libphp5.so

PHP が利用できるように Apache2 の設定をする。

$ sudo vi /opt/local/apache2/conf/httpd.conf

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php # この行を追加する

Apache2 を再起動する

$ sudo /opt/local/apache2/bin/apachectl restart

MySQL5 のインストール

こちらも、+server が obsolete となっていたので、mysql5-server をインストールする。

$ sudo port install mysql5 +server
$ sudo port install mysql5-server

インストール後以下のようなメッセージが表示される。

$ sudo -u mysql mysql_install_db5
Installing MySQL system tables...

To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy
support-files/mysql.server to the right place for your system

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:
/opt/local/lib/mysql5/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
/opt/local/lib/mysql5/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h hostname password 'new-password'

Alternatively you can run:
/opt/local/lib/mysql5/bin/mysql_secure_installation

which will also give you the option of removing the test
databases and anonymous user created by default.  This is
strongly recommended for production servers.

You can start the MySQL daemon with:
cd /opt/local ; /opt/local/lib/mysql5/bin/mysqld_safe &

You can test the MySQL daemon with mysql-test-run.pl
cd mysql-test ; perl mysql-test-run.pl

メッセージにしたがい、MySQL5 の自動起動設定をおこない、root パスワードの設定をする。

$ sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.macports.mysql5.plist
$ /opt/local/lib/mysql5/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'

PHP で MySQL を利用できるようにする。

インストール後、表示されるメッセージにしたがい php.ini の mysql.default_socket と mysqli.default_socket と pdo_mysql.default_socket の値を /opt/local/var/run/mysql5/mysqld.sock に設定する。

$ sudo port install php5-mysql
To use mysqlnd with a local MySQL server, edit /opt/local/etc/php5/php.ini and set
mysql.default_socket, mysqli.default_socket and pdo_mysql.default_socket
to /opt/local/var/run/mysql5/mysqld.sock

その他のインストール

$ sudo port install php5-sqlite
$ sudo port install php5-gd
$ sudo port install phpmyadmin
A new configuration file has been created at /opt/local/www/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php.

特にトラブルもなくすんなりインストールできた。
